The Galeria É, located in one of the most vibrant neighborhood of São Paulo, brings together a unique selection of international artists with diverse background and artwork. From photographic work, to street art, collage and painting, plastic art and sculptures, the Galeria É offers a wide spectrum of inspiring artworks under one roof.

The curator, Jerome Sainte Rose, a French-born photographer, has been travelling the world for more than 20 years for his photography work. Based in Sao Paulo for 15 years, Jerome brings his experience, expert eye and soul to carefully select artists and works of art. His thirst for novelty always ensures dynamic, original and inspiring exhibitions, and amazing exchange projects.

ALMA DA SELVA

Photographic work

March 2017. The Amazonia, in the State of Acre, in the Southwest of the amazon, these photos reveal the soul of the jungle.
Through his photographic journey, Jerome Sainte Rose, meet with the native Indians Huni Kuin tribe. He learned from their art, the Mahku (MAHKU – Huni Kuin Artists Movement), and experienced the Ayahuasca (a combination between quechua aya and huaska, the liana of spirits, liana of the dead, liana of the souls); a true spiritual connection with the nature. The Huni Kuins are renowned for being healers who protect the planet.
